Country to the Core...
Steven Dowd is an independent country music singer songwriter, award winning vocalist, and Nashville recording artist from Greenfield, Oh. Steven delivers dynamic, raw, soulful vocals that draw listeners in by the feeling and emotion presented. He has drawn inspiration from artists from all types of genres, and artists alike. Elvis Presley among others was an artist that he always admired by the way he could command the stage during a performance.
Like many artists, Steven grew up in the church and always around music. His mother, Nancy Dowd, always sang in the church. Steven always had a love for music but did not began playing guitar, singing, and writing until around 2003. Steven has a solid background in performing even on some of the biggest stages. He has had the incredible opportunity as a finalist in a talent competition to open up for artist such as The Band Perry, Justin Moore, and Mark Chestnut. Steven has performed in front of as many as 12,000+ people on a few occasions. He has performed the National anthem for Lou City FC, Florence y’all’s, and the Cincinnati Open tennis tournament, as well as performed on International, and National TV. He has performed at several well-known venues such as Loris Roadhouse, and Linder family tennis center in the Cincinnati, Ohio area, Lynn family stadium in Louisville KY and Tootsies and both the Texas Troubadour in Nashville, Tn.
Steven's motto is “you can change the world with just a song” and believes that if one of his songs can reach one person it is all worth it. Steven recently recorded in Nashville and is looking to release his music soon on all streaming platforms. Steven just recently won Inspirational Male Vocalist of the Year at the Music Star Country Fan Awards in Nashville, Tn. Steven is looking to grow his fan base and is excited to see what the future holds for his music career.
